About time to update this page :)
Well since my last post here the following things happened:

A couple of months back I bought a mountain bike. Tired of wasting money on public transport and wanted to do some fitness thing. It was my first bike since school and it showed. I went flying over the bars on day one. Those pesky hydraulic brakes turned out to be very good :D So far I haven't broken anything and it's lost of fun.

I bought new camera bag (Tamrac Adventure 7 Backpack), support for my D300 (Joby Gorillapod SLR-ZOOM Tripod and Manfrotto 484RC2 Ball head) and new lens (Sigma 10-20mm f/4-5.6 EX DC HSM).

A week ago I came back from two weeks holidays, most of which my wife and I spend in Russia visiting family and friends. This was our first visit since we left Russia six and a half years ago. And what a change! Everybody has a mobile phone. Even my grandma! My home town has a million new shops. Everywhere you go you can get sushi and everybody seems to like green tea (ok I can get sushi but green tea?!). Weather was great and we had great time.
Some things didn't change though. In fact on day one I was reminded why I didn't actually missed Russia all this time. As foreigners (I came with my British passport and my wife is English) my wife and I needed to register in the town we were staying in within the first three days of our visit. Why we needed to do it is a mystery especially considering the fact that all this information was taken from us when crossing border. I don't want to go into details, but the bureaucracy and the rude attitude we were met with in some little crappy office in the middle of nowhere was mind blowing.

Anyway I'm back and hopefully will be able to show you some of my photographs I have taken in Russia.

See you around.
